Why you'd want to live in Ravenna (Northeast Seattle)
Ravenna, once known for its wilderness, has now become a remarkably quiet and peaceful neighborhood, considering that it’s very close to the busier hub of Greenlake and the U-District. This in-demand neighborhood has become one of THE hottest housing markets in the US because of its amazingly gorgeous multistory homes, historic and picturesque mansions, wide streets and lush lawns, and all the amenities one would want in a perfect residential area. U-Village (University Village) is the star attraction here. This outdoor “lifestyle” shopping mall is home to popular stores such as J.Crew, Banana Republic, Gap, and H&M just to name a few. Ravenna Park offers close to 50 acres of open grassy fields, wooded land and numerous trails to choose from. Ravenna is also the home of the almost 100-year-old Roosevelt High School (the stately home of the Rough Riders). There are plenty of local shops in Ravenna as well (especially for mothers) that kids will love including: Trophy Cupcakes. During the summers there are outdoor concerts, and other fun live events, that are sure to please just about anyone looking for something extra to do.
