Why you'd want to live in Fauntleroy (West Seattle)
If you’re looking for a secluded, quiet and serene neighborhood in Seattle that also has some of the most incredible views, then Fauntleroy is worth checking out. This neighborhood is probably the most hidden neighborhood in of all of Seattle. You’ll find Fauntleroy tucked away in Fauntleroy Cover which is located across from West Seattle Bridge and just past the center of West Seattle. Here you’ll find small sections of cute cottages and bungalows, refreshing marine life, unbeatable views of the Olympic Mountains (on clear days that is), and so much more. Nearby Lincoln Park claims to be Seattle’s most “multi-purpose” park thanks to its generous amounts of hiking and bike trails, boat launch spots, a wading pool, a heated outdoor saltwater pool, sports fields, horseshoe pits, and plenty of picnic spots for those perfect sunny afternoons. When you’re hungry, be sure to check out Endolyne Joe’s, Birds on a Wire Espresso, and The Original Bakery.
